Apparently, the African cap which is what Venice sits upon is sliding under the European cap.
Its a tragedy, but these things happen. Just look at the civilizations which are being discovered in the depths of the ocean off the shores off Japan, and elsewhere.
I doubt my grandson will be able to go there when he is in his forties though...but maybe there will be the vestiges still.
I feel like it really belongs to all of us..that something of its history has permeated into our DNA. As soon as you mention the word 'Venice', people invariably look like you're talking about a long lost love, something deeply moving in the heart and Soul.
I am so very grateful to have floated upon its waters, and drunk in the grandeur, the airs and graces of its ancient Mediterranean energy.
