Gerhard Richter's painting of Ema (1966), which must have been a sort of premonition of things to come. It really looks like he painted this from a digital image, and quite honestly I'm not sure whether digital was around at that time. Maybe only in watches and computers. (if you know, let me know!). Anyway, I love the cross-over. And I admire his work.
